Twice as fortunate
Grapes and wine. Vahrn, Neustift, Elvas
The holiday villages of Vahrn, Neustift and Elvas are situated on the sunny side of the valley. Coming from the Brenner Pass, you will find the first grapes. It is visible, that the South begins here. Chestnuts and wine grow in this climate, a fact discovered by the canons of Neustift. During the Middle Ages, they used this fortunate location for growing their garden produce. Today, the village around Kloster Neustift, with the Engelsburg and the Canon wine cellar, are the meeting point for gourmets, lovers of art and those who want to know more. The Vahrn lake and the Elvas hiking trails offer twice as much natural fun.
