If you spend your holiday in Brixen, nearly all the South Tyrolean mountain ranges are right in front of your door. Brixen is softly spread out in the valley, while its holiday villages are dotted along the warm southern mountain ranges.
The Plose mountain near Brixen towers above it all. The holiday region of Brixen extends to some large-scale high Alpine meadows such as the Lüsen Alm and enormous Dolomites such as the Peitler Kofel, which both allow beautiful panoramic views along the Eisack Valley.
