The double-sided activity programme

Summer and winter on the Plose mountain

  • Twice as fast: modern lift facilities transport you to an altitude of 2,500 metres during the summer and winter.
  • Twice as comfortable: Romantic snack bars, mountain huts and refuge huts invite you to visit at any time of the year.
  • Twice the view: Idyllic hiking trails, walking paths and climbing routes to the summit open up a variety of activities for the valley and mountain – plus you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views.
  • Twice the activity: Brixen‘s mountain, the Plose, is very flexible: During the summer, it is a hiking mountain, guaranteeing the best panoramic views. During the winter season, it turns into a modern skiing region between the Dolomite mountains and the Sarn Valley Alps – a central position in the Eisack Valley. Enjoy panoramic hiking trips, mountain biking and extreme downhill runs, as well as skiing and cross-country skiing.
  • Twice the outlook: The warm southern mountain climate offers views of two panoramic highlights: the UNEESCO World Heritage site of the Dolomites and the ragged peaks of the Ziller Valley and Sarn Valley Alps.
  • Winter – the longest downhill run in South Tyrol: The Plose mountain skiing region offers you a great highlight: The Trametsch is the longest downhill run in South Tyrol at 11km. Of course, there are also lift facilities and modern cable-car railways, pistes for every degree of difficulty, a snow fun park for snow-boarders, a ski school, children’s entertainment, comfortable snack bars and refuge huts, winter hiking trails and toboggan runs. Never mind where you are in the holiday region of Brixen, the ski bus will transport you to the Plose mountain and later again back to your hotel! Twice the comfort!
