The Brixen area and the Eisack Valley are renowned as a wine-cultivating region. Not only the Neustift Canon distillery, but many other small independent wine businesses produce excellent wines – particularly white wines from the Eisack Valley. The fruity, subtle aromas and the elegant, full-bodied wines are very exciting. The reason for this is the climate. The change between cool nights, hot days and a refreshing breeze, create ideal conditions. Therefore, the dry white wines with their attractive heartiness are often awarded with international recognition!
