The pharmacies in Brixen are open from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00 midday and from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00 midday. The only exception is the weekly closing day. Out of business hours, one of the three pharmacies provides an emergency service (see the notice at the pharmacy). The emergency service is for urgent cases and it is necessary to present a doctor's prescription. The changeover in service from one pharmacy to another always takes place on Monday morning at 8:00am.
