The Plose mountain railway brings you from Brixen quickly to the snow-covered mountain regions and onto cleared winter hiking trails. It’s also worthwhile visiting a mountain hut on the Lüsen and the Rodeneck Alm, as well as checking out hiking trails into the Dolomite mountains.
Snow-shoe hiking: a lonely mountain adventure
Fresh snow and a pair of snow-shoes. This is the ideal combination to set you up for a great experience of the South Tyrolean winter. Snow-shoe hiking is just great! The Lüsen mountain world, the Dolomites, as well as snow-show hiking routes to the Plose mountain are great highlights for anyone who wants to stay active during the winter.

Guided tours with snowshoes on Plose every Thursday and Sunday of Christmas until middle March. Meeting place: at 10.00 am at the meeting point of the ski school at Valcroce.
