BrixenClassics Festival Orchestra & Klanglabor@BrixenClassics
The Klanglabor is a concept for visionary training for young musicians that was brought to life by Daniel Geiss, the musical director of the BrixenClassics, and has been applied in projects all over the world.
The Klanglabor@BrixenClassics project, together with musicians from famous European orchestras and students of the academy, come together in the BrixenClassics Festival Orchestra. The BrixenClassics Festival is therefore in the fortunate position of having its own orchestra under the direction of Daniel Geiss. Together they will develop the extensive musical programme of the festival, which, in addition to Wagner's 'Flying Dutchman and orchestral concerts, will also offer numerous chamber music concerts.
For the first time, the BrixenClassics Festival Orchestra will go on tour and - together with Daniel Hope- will give a concert in the Frauenkirche in Dresden.
