A Brixen production
This year’s light musical show is not only the work of a woman from Brixen. No, also the actors, the lyrics and some of the compositions are written by natives of Brixen or living here by choice. The magic scenography and light projections were created by the French light artists Spectaculaires - the creators of Soliman’s Dream.
SCRIPT AND DIRECTION
The moving story was written by director and actress Eva Kuen. Eva Kuen was born and grew up in South Tyrol, received her acting training in Vienna, Avignon and New York. She learned guitar and violoncello, studied flamenco in Seville and - after an adventurous intermezzo on a sailing ship in France - worked as an actress (as “Soko Kitzbühl“ and “Landkrimi” among others) for film and theatre and as a director. Her heart is focused mainly on developing her own songs and pieces.
The two main characters of the fairy tale are interpreted and played by the actors Viktoria Obermarzoner and Anna Fink in the role of Liora and Peter Schorn and Emanuele Colombi in the role of Monsieur TickTack.
The Australian but in Brixen living composer Stephen Lloyed has composed music especially for the Light Musical Show and recorded it with the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento. Magic moments await the visitors of this unique Light Musical Show.
The lyrics were written by the Brixen stage poet Arno Dejaco. The Italian texts arepartly translated and partly completed by multitalented musician and actor Emanuele Colombi.
