Sunrise concert with Max von Milland pres. by Brixen Tourism

Mystical probably describes the mood of the second sunrise concert on the Plose with Max von Milland best. Surrounded by fog, the South Tyrolean singer performed his songs in dialect - in front of 300 enthusiastic fans. They put up with the early rising and took the gondola to the Plose at 5.20 a.m. Lanterns lit their way. Lanterns lit the way to the stage, which they reached after a ten-minute hike. The silence of the mountains and the smell of the alpine terrain accompanied the hikers, who were rewarded for their early morning effort - with a magical concert.
Together with pianist Teresa Staffler and multi-instrumentalist Simon Gamper, Max von Milland from Brixen took the stage. With well-known songs like "Leg di her", "Red mit mir", but also new interpretations, like "Halt dich an deiner Liebe", he thrilled the early risers who made themselves comfortable between the long blades of grass. The sold-out concert was followed by a breakfast in the restaurants on the Plose, which gave the fans, musicians and organisers around the Brixen Tourism Cooperative some time to exchange ideas.
"I have to admit that this concert deeply touched me - it was a magical moment. The Plose is my local mountain but also one of my favourite mountains and today it showed me a new side. The fog breathed mystically on the musical sounds."
