Ticketing & opening hours

The Brixen Water Light Festival can be visited free of charge from 21:00-00:00 during the 19 festival days. A ticket is required for three extraordinary light art installations in the city. The Neustift Monastery sites are accessible during the day with normal museum admission.

• Neustift: 10-17 h (last admission at 16:15 h)

Admission to the 3 special installations in Brixen:

Tickets for the paid installations can be purchased at Brixen Tourism (9:00-17:00h) or online (www.waterlight.it)  from the beginning of March. During the festival days, tickets are also available at the sales point on site (Hofburgplatz/Piazza Hofburg 19:30-23:45h).

• Students up to 26 (with ID); young people aged 15 - 19; senior citizens > 65 years; disability up to 46% --> 6€
• Disability from 47% --> free + accompanying person free (only available at the box office)
• Children 0 - 14 years --> free (only available at the box office)
• Group tickets from 20 persons --> 8€ with e-mail to info@brixen.org
• WLF guided tour --> €5 (meeting point: Hofburgplatz ticket stand 21:15)
• WLF ticket included in the Summercard Gold

From 24.04.:

• 12€ for adults
• Students up to 26 (with ID), public transport travellers; young people aged 15 - 19; senior citizens > 65 years; disability up to 46% --> €8
• Disability from 47% --> free + accompanying person free (only available at the box office)
• Children 0 - 14 years --> free (only available at the box office)

Neustift/Novacella:

Admission to Neustift Abbey is not included in the ticket and can be purchased directly at the museum.

WLF guided tour Neustift (from 25.04 - 29.06.2024) - € 17 per person - registration required (booking@kloster-neustift.it) - meeting point: Infopoint - every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2.30 pm - duration 1.5h
