Walking Towards Peace is a projection-based work exploring the act of walking and the experiences gathered with each step. Created in collaboration with the local community in Brixen, it draws inspiration from the surrounding natural landscape. Connected to our past, we walk towards the future, carrying our history within us. The work incorporates textiles first woven during the Bronze Age 5,000 years ago and now preserved in the National Museum in Copenhagen. Walking Towards Peace emphasises connection — to the past, to nature and to one another — through play, dance and centuries-old traces brought back into the light.
