Winter wonderland
Winter at its most beautiful
When Brixen’s rooftops are blanketed in snow, the rhythm of life in the town and on the mountains changes. There’s a stillness in the air as locals and visitors enjoy the winter atmosphere in and around Brixen.
The snow-covered mountainsides, slopes and trails above the town are particularly enticing, offering the ideal conditions for tobogganing, snowshoeing, ski touring and cross-country skiing.
And after all that exercise, it’s time to relax and enjoy the outstanding range of eateries on the mountains and in the town, the many family-run shops and the small markets with regional products.
