Be Water My Friends integrates into the daily rhythm of Brixen at the confluence of two rivers, transforming an ordinary walkway into a space of resonance. The work is shaped by three elements: a central light-and-sound installation that connects natural and artificial elements, weaving sounds and beings from another world into the babbling of the water; a 3D video art screen showing a multi-layered digital work that continuously translates itself, acting as a contemporary Rosetta Stone that unites the languages gathered on its path; and a participatory group dance performance featuring hypnotic steps from the Italian balera era. The installation invites the city to listen beyond its borders and experience the complexity and hybridity of contemporary society, where different geographies, cultures, and timelines converge in a shared environment.
