ZIYAD ALROQI | LUMINOUS ROUTES

city-wide

Luminous Routes is a site-specific series of light installations that transforms urban and natural landscapes through floating neon shapes. Each glowing form—square, circle, triangle, line, or polygon—acts as a silent signal, inviting moments of reflection. Installed in various architectural and natural settings, the shapes dissolve their own logic: floating squares, triangles anchored to the ground, and luminous lines piercing the darkness. These paradoxes make the tension between order and emotion, structure and surrender, palpable. In a world of constant motion, Luminous Routes creates a space of stillness—not as a retreat, but as a point of orientation that enables conscious perception and a moment of pause.
