This year, Brixen Tourism has once again renewed its connection with artist Stefano Cagol, reaffirming his central role in the celebrations for the International Day of Light. The city of Bressanone, long dedicated to contemporary art and the dialogue between innovation and tradition, welcomes the artist once more, this time with a visionary and symbolic project: We Own the Futures.
This new collaboration highlights the importance of light as an element of unity and collective reflection, a light that goes beyond mere representation to become a symbol of connection between the past, present, and future.
The event will be a cultural and symbolic highlight of great significance for the city, an opportunity to look to the future with awareness and hope, accompanied by the art of Stefano Cagol, a shared, luminous, and inclusive vision.

Stefano Cagol is an Italian contemporary artist working in the fields of Conceptual and Environmental Art, Eco-Art and Land Art through installations, performances and videos. He is a recipient of various art prizes. Has participated in the Biennales of Venice, Curitiba, Xinjiang and Singapore. The International Day of Light is a global initiative that provides an annual focus for the continued appreciation of light and the role it plays in science, culture and art, education, and sustainable development, as well as in diverse fields such as medicine, communication, and energy. The broad theme of light allows many different sectors of society worldwide to participate in activities that demonstrate how science, technology, art, and culture can help achieve UNESCO's goals – education, equality, and peace.
