5 P.M. - WINERIES

Enjoy an evening of walking, music and wine tastings above Neustift Monastery at the Sounding Vineyards. This guided musical walk through the grapevines takes you to three renowned wineries – the Pacherhof, the Strasserhof and the Köfererhof. Relax and listen to classical, brass and Dixieland music while sampling exquisite varieties of white wine, each matched to the performance at hand. Three wineries, three tastings, three styles of music:

Classical violin and piano music performed by pianist Julia Okruashvili and the first violinist of the Munich Radio Orchestra, Stanko Madić, at the Pacherhof

Brass music played by the brass ensemble of the BrixenClassics Festival Orchestra amidst spectacular views of the Eisacktal valley’s grapevines at the Strasserhof and with the Aluna Quartet, outstandingly exceptional and intuitive interpretations of classics from all musical eras at the Köfererhof.

Each stop is reached by an approx. 15-minute guided hike along hiking trails and farmyard tracks. Guests will be guided from winery to winery in three groups. At the last stop on the tour, the festivities will continue late into the night – accompanied, of course, by some excellent white wine from the Eisacktal valley.
