The traditional bread and strudel market takes place every year on the first weekend in October. Brixen Cathedral Square is the venue for this popular event, where numerous bakeries and pastry shops from South Tyrol offer delicious bread specialties and confectionery.
Every year, a fantastic supporting program is offered with music and a historical trail “From Grain to Bread,” covering everything from threshing and processing in the mill to baking in the oven.

The Bread and Strudel Market is planned, organized, and implemented according to sustainability criteria. Environmentally friendly products are used, reusable tableware is provided, and sustainable mobility is promoted. Waste management, regional cycles, and much more are also taken into account.
