Törggelen is a South Tyrolean autumn food tradition with young wine, chestnuts and typical dishes served in farmhouse taverns or inns. The Water Light Festival is an art and light festival in Brixen that connects the town’s water locations with installations by international artists. It takes place every two years; the next edition is planned for 2028.

In July and August, Brixen’s SUMMER EMOTIONS bring warm summer evenings to the town centre. On four evenings, different businesses in the old town offer culinary specialities, aperitifs and refreshing drinks. Bands and DJs turn the historic centre into a stage. Brixen’s heart becomes a meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

bike festa Südtirol takes place for the first time in autumn 2026. It celebrates cycling and brings it to life in the heart of Brixen: professionals and beginners can expect a bike expo and an extensive supporting programme in the historic centre. Dine, Wine & Music is a summer event where different Brixen restaurants prepare culinary specialities on Cathedral Square. South Tyrolean white wines and live music by South Tyrolean bands accompany the evening, all in the open air against the backdrop of Brixen Cathedral.
